Qur'an is the holy book of the last prophet, which has given us plans in all areas of life, especially beliefs, morals, and rules. Meanwhile, the category of beliefs and rulings is one of the most challenging issues, and each category has various angles and aspects that require the issues related to them to be explained properly. Knowing the Arabic grammar and syntax will be very helpful in knowing God's intention in the Holy Qur'an. In the meantime, the diacritic of the word Arjulakum in verse 6 of Surah Ma'idah has created a challenge for Shia and Sunni groups, and each of them issued a ruling based on their reading of the word Arjul. This study has carefully analyzed the obtained results with analytical, descriptive, and comparative methods, and the findings suggests the reading of this word in three forms including Nasb, Jarr and Raf. Shia believe that the recitation of Nasb' and Jar is correct in both cases, but in the case of reading Jar, the diacritic of that place are assigned to the word ``Ro'usukum''. Therefore, Shia proved that just as the head should be anointed, the feet should also be anointed. However, Sunni scholars believe that it does not matter if Arjul is Majrur (jar status) or Mansub (nasb status). In both cases, the face and arms are focused, so washing the feet is obligatory. In the third examination, which is the Raf reading; This theory has very few fans and Arjul is considered to be the Mubtada (subject) for Khabar (predicate) Mahzuf (omitted) (in Arabic syntax).
