This study aims to reconstruct and analyze the scholarly life and career of the late Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Mohammad Hadi Yaqubnejad in order to elucidate the development, expansion, and consolidation of his scholarly achievements within the institutional context of Islamic sciences and information management. This qualitative study adopts a biographical research approach and draws on four sources of data: the author's lived experience and direct observations during approximately 30 years of academic and organizational collaboration with Yaqubnejad; in-depth interviews with nearly five academic and executive colleagues; family accounts and communications; and the documents, writings, and scholarly and organizational works he left behind. The study employs a biographical research strategy. The analysis identifies five stages in Yaqubnejad's scholarly trajectory: laying the groundwork for scholarly development, confronting a problem, ideation and innovation, institutionalizing achievements, and consolidating the scholarly legacy. These stages illustrate the interplay between scholarly commitment, religious concerns, and institutional capacity in the production and organization of knowledge. The findings indicate that Yaqubnejad's scholarly life is not merely an individual biography; rather, it provides a framework for understanding how scholarly capital is developed, experience is transferred, and knowledge legacies are sustained in the contemporary field of Islamic sciences. The study also demonstrates that biographical research, when grounded in diverse data sources and systematic analysis, can facilitate a credible and analytical reconstruction of the scholarly lives of influential figures.
