In today's world, organizations regard human capital more than ever as the key to their survival and sustainable success. Among the various characteristics of human resources, emotional intelligence is recognized as one of the most important soft skills that, alongside technical and cognitive abilities, influences employees' behavior, attitudes, and performance. The present study aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction among employees of research institutes, universities, and Islamic seminaries. Owing to differences in their missions, organizational structures, and institutional cultures, each of these settings possesses distinctive characteristics that may influence employees' emotional interactions and job-related attitudes. Drawing upon relevant theoretical foundations and previous research findings, this article seeks to demonstrate how emotional intelligence can serve as a strong predictor of organizational commitment and job satisfaction, and how these relationships may differ across research, university, and seminary environments.
The findings of this study may provide practical insights for human resource managers, educational policymakers, and decision-makers in the country's academic and cultural institutions.
