Abstract

The long texts of the articles need to be compressed and reduced both in order to save the time of the readers and to facilitate the evaluation of the judges and evaluators. This is possible through abstract writing before indexing. There are many types of abstracts, which are divided into two categories according to their volume and main items including short abstract and long abstract. A short abstract is usually provided for articles, but a long abstract, which is considered a necessity and a condition for presenting articles in international conferences and databases, due to the lack of standardization in its preparation, requires a single solution that everyone should pay attention when preparing such abstracts. A long abstract is actually a short article that can be read to get to know the essence of the subject completely. The solution for writing a long abstract is to try to standardize the structure and its constituent elements. For this purpose, its main elements should be divided into two categories. First, in terms of bibliographic information, such as title, author, journal title, publication date, issue number, volume, as well as short abstract and key words, and second, in terms of the content of the article, which needs to have an introduction, research method, findings, and discussion and the conclusion and writing the main references of the article, just like the original article. The length of the long abstract is between 700 and 1000 words.
