Abstract

Knowledge of jurisprudence, due to the structural scope and increased information production on the one hand and the need for it on the other hand, requires information management through information representation. On the other hand, the representation of information, due to its inclusion between the minimum and maximum, needs to refine the concept, methods and operational approaches, each of which needs to be discussed independently; However, this research, which is applied in terms of collection, library and descriptive studies with an analytical approach and purpose-based, with the aim of explaining and clarifying indexing approaches, seeks to examine different trends in information representation and to identify and examine it in two ways: first in terms of information representation orientation and second in terms of information representation content. In the tendency of information representation, there are three approaches called document-oriented approach, user-oriented approach and domain-oriented approach, which is more necessary for the management of jurisprudential knowledge information, domain-oriented approach. In the content of information representation, there are three approaches called lexical approach, thematic approach and citation approach, which is the best approach to representing the knowledge of jurisprudence, thematic approach.
